Come join us for a morning of conversation, friendship, and all things children & families!

What We Do
The Family Coalition is a group of parents and caregivers who strive to make Sanilac County a better place to raise a family. We do this by lending our voices to the Great Start Collaborative, attending meetings, serving on committees, planning and volunteering at events, and working on projects on our own, such as the Great Start Preschool Scholarship Program and Annual Family Coalition Book Drive.

What’s in it for You?
Families who choose to attend these FREE meetings, share their vision and give their time are eligible to receive a stipend and entered into quarterly gift card drawing. A gas card and snacks are provided, making it easier for families to attend. By participating in the early childhood system, families also have opportunities to establish connections with other parents of young children throughout Sanilac County, voice their thoughts, and expand their knowledge of family-friendly activities available in the community.
